Case Study – ALP

Situation

During COVID-19 People Vision wanted to reach out to support the wellbeing of clients and their employees. As one of our valuable clients we contacted David Camp, Chief Executive of the Association of Labour Providers and offered a taster wellbeing session to help their employees with what has been a challenging situation for many people for a variety of reasons.
Challenge

We took a brief from David and established the key challenges their members were facing.
The following was decided as the agenda:

-
Your well-being, self-care and resilience
-
Managing change, stress and anxiety in your workforce
-
How to lead and motivate a remote team effectively
-
Supporting others with mental health issues
-
Homeworking – being productive and reducing tensions at home

Action

We quickly responded to their request, sought to understand the challenges and put together a bespoke taster program to meet the needs of the client and their furloughed employees. We delivered the session on Zoom and engaged 165 registered and 142 on the call for 60 minutes people on the call.

Results

The taster session was planned for just 60 minutes and because of the positive engagement and participation of the members we answered some Questions and Answers on the call and then provided a FAQ’s Post Event. The audience was mainly from the UK and the feedback was very positive.

Outcome

A successful taster with great feedback and will result in more planned sessions to support the Members in these difficult uncertain times. The next session is in preparation – “Having Difficult Conversations”

Testimonial

Alyson please pass on my thanks to All the presenters We maintained about 140 attendees throughout the session which is very positive for a virtual session. I think you conveyed a difficult topic in a friendly, engaging, down to earth and pragmatic style.
